Hide the Vault from Screenshots
Keep what's in your vault out of screenshots, screen recordings and the app switcher.
In the app switcher, the vault is always hidden — there is nothing to turn on. To keep it out of screenshots and recordings too:
- At the top of the album list, tap Settings (if you don't see it, tap … first).
- Under Screen Capture, turn on Block screen capture.
With it on:
- Screenshots of SilentBox come out black.
- While the screen is recorded, mirrored or shown with AirPlay, the vault is blurred and SilentBox says why.
- When the recording ends, touch the screen to see the vault again.
TipTurn Block screen capture off when you want to record a video of the app or present it on another screen.
NoteNothing can stop someone from filming the screen with another camera, and iOS doesn't guarantee this protection. If your version of iOS doesn't let SilentBox block screenshots, Settings tells you; recording and mirroring are still hidden. Blocking screen capture is part of the Full Version.
