Read PDFs and Documents

PDFs and scans open right in SilentBox, page after page, without leaving the vault.

1. In an album, tap the document's thumbnail.
2. Scroll up and down through the pages. Pinch to zoom in.
3. Tap the page once to hide the title and buttons. Tap again to bring them back.
4. If the document has recognized text, tap Text at the top left to read it as plain text. You can select and copy it there.
5. When you're done, tap Close (the X at the top left).

Your scans are PDFs, so they open the same way.

SilentBox shows PDFs only. Other kinds of documents, such as Word files or spreadsheets, show a badge with their file type — DOCX, XLSX and so on — both in the album and when you open them. They stay safely encrypted in the vault; to read them, export them to another app.
