Add from Another App

Share photos, videos, PDFs and other files from any app straight into the vault — even while it's locked.

  1. In the other app, select what you want to keep and tap the Share button.
  2. Tap SilentBox in the row of apps.
  3. Items go to Main unless you choose otherwise. To pick another album, tap Main, confirm it's you with Face ID or Touch ID, and choose one in Save to Album.
  4. Tap Add to Vault.
  5. When you see Saved to the vault, tap Done.

Nothing is saved until you tap Add to Vault. The items are encrypted right there in the share sheet and appear in the vault the next time you unlock it.

Locked albums aren't in the list, so their names can't be read from the share sheet. To put something in a locked album, add it to another album first and move it there.

TipSharing copies the item; the original stays in the other app. For photos in the Photos app, use Add Photos inside SilentBox instead — only then can SilentBox delete the originals for you.
NoteSilentBox has to be set up first: open it and unlock your vault once. Adding also needs the free trial or the Full Version — after the trial, nothing is saved from the share sheet, but everything already in the vault stays. If some items can't be read, SilentBox says how many were saved; share the rest again.
